Most astrology apps give you a sun-sign reading and call it personal. NEFELI takes a different approach: it reads the current sky in relation to your life — what's actually happening for you in healing, work, and relationships — and holds that context across conversations.

The product has gone through a meaningful pivot. It started as a fashion and beauty guidance app using birth chart placements. It's now something with a bigger surface area: a warm, emotionally intelligent astrology companion that meets you where you are, day after day.

Trust design in a
non-falsifiable domain.

The interesting UX challenge in NEFELI is one that doesn't come up in most product work: how do you build trust in guidance when there's no ground truth to evaluate it against? Astrology is inherently non-falsifiable. The question isn't "is this accurate?" — it's "does this feel true, and does it help?"

That shapes every design decision. The companion doesn't assert. It reflects. It doesn't give predictions — it offers a frame for the moment you're already in. The memory layer isn't data collection — it's the foundation for a relationship that gets more useful over time, not less.

This connects directly to the trust design work in NARC — the same principle applies in both contexts: visible reasoning, honest uncertainty, and never claiming more than the system actually knows. The stakes are different, but the design problems rhyme.

Built with Claude Code and Cursor — the same AI-augmented workflow used across all the personal apps. The stack is opinionated: Next.js App Router for the SSR layer, Supabase for auth and the memory/context persistence, Tailwind with a custom dark token set.
